About us
My name is Giuliano Lodola. I was born and raised in Carrara, on the Tuscan coast, and I have spent my life around two things: a workbench and a wood pigeon hide. Colombaccio Facile started right there — at the bench of a craftsman who is, first of all, a hunter.
The story
It all began in the hide. Season after season I realised the gear on the market didn't really capture how a wood pigeon moves while feeding: too stiff, not lifelike enough, fragile in wind and rain. So I picked up bits of aluminium, motors, remotes, and started building the kit I actually needed in the field. Hunting friends saw my tools at work and asked me to make them one. Then another. That is how the Colombaccio Facile brand was born: not a corporate launch, but the natural extension of my workshop in Carrara.
The workshop
Every roller, flapper, pusher, catcher and carousel leaves my workshop in Via Delle Pinete, Carrara. I machine the painted aluminium by hand, assemble the electronics myself, and test every tool before it ships. No cheap plastic, no assembly line: only materials that survive a full hunting season and motorised movements that genuinely mimic a wood pigeon in feed. Made in Italy is not a slogan — it is my bench, my name on the invoice, my phone number at the bottom of this page.
Why you can trust us
I have been hunting wood pigeons for decades: the gear I sell is the gear I use, the same I bring to the European Outdoor Show in Verona and to Caccia Village in Bastia Umbra. Every product is covered by a 2-year warranty and I accept returns within 60 days, no questions asked. If something is off, you call me directly — I pick up the phone, in the workshop, Monday through Saturday.
